Prof. Dr. Otilia Elena Dragomir is a distinguished Associate Professor at Valahia University of Târgoviște, renowned for her extensive contributions to the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Smart Grids, and Renewable Energy Systems. With over two decades of academic and research experience, Dr. Dragomir is a leading expert in neural networks, fuzzy logic, and intelligent control systems.
Her impressive career includes a significant tenure as Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Information Technology (FIEETI) from 2020 to 2024, where she played a pivotal role in academic program oversight, research initiatives, and faculty development. Dr. Dragomir's academic journey is marked by a PhD in System Engineering from Franche-Comté University of Besançon, France, and Politechnica University of Bucharest, alongside a Master's degree in Modern Systems for Process Control and Information Transmission from Valahia University of Târgoviște.
Dr. Dragomir's research is at the forefront of innovation, focusing on the application of AI in energy management and smart grid technologies. She is a recognized R&D Expert in Romania's National Register and an active member of IEEE.
